A Seafaring
World
"A Seafaring World" combines History, Mathematics,
Science, Geography and Physical Education for an unforgettable
experience. You will be entering a new world upon
boarding Tall Ship Silva. There is a new language to
learn, navigational instruments to discover, and names of
sails to remember.

Students will
hear about the history of the Halifax Waterfront and the
Atlantic region. Your class will assist the crew as they
work together raising and lowering sails, and steering with
the Captain. "A Seafaring World" is suitable for all
ages: Junior Kindergarten, Elementary, High School, Special
Needs and Adult Groups. |

"It's All Glitz
& Glamour"
A sailing tour aboard our elegant charter boat is the
perfect way to highlight a very special event like your
formal. The main dining salon is ideal for sit-down
dinners and is decorated with linens, china place settings and
floral arrangements creating a stylish atmosphere. After
dinner, dance the night away with our DJ on the wide-open
deck.
It's the perfect
night sailing under the stars... what better backdrop for
your prom photos than historic Halifax Harbour, George's
Island and Tall Ship Silva.
