Groups from 10 up to 150 may participate in educational tours, pizza parties or late night dance parties. Parents and teachers can feel confident and comfortable knowing students are in a fun yet safe and controlled environment. Tall Ship Silva and crew participate in regular and extensive safety training and are Transport Canada certified.

Tall Ship Silva is dedicated to providing opportunities for students of all ages. We encourage students to experience and explore the traditional way of life that made Halifax a vital port along Canada's historic seacoast.
A Seafaring World
"A Seafaring World" combines History, Mathematics, Science, Geography and Physical Education for an unforgettable experience.
- learn nautical terms and discover navigational instruments
- learn the history of the Halifax Waterfront and the Atlantic region
- assist the crew as they work together raising and lowering sails
- steer the ship with the Captain
"A Seafaring World" is suitable for all ages: Junior Kindergarten, Elementary, High School, Special Needs and Adult Groups.
After Prom
Sail Halifax Harbour, rockin' with our DJ on the open air dance floor. After prom, have a pizza party and unlimited soft drinks... It's new, unique and cool! Teachers and parents can relax knowing that students will be in an enjoyable, yet controlled atmosphere.
University Students
Sail Halifax Harbour, dancing to our DJ or a live band on the open air dance floor and a fully licensed bar. This is a great option during orientation week!
Fun Faculty Outings
